1. Billing & Payment: If you are paying by CREDIT CARD, and gave it to us when you signed up - and received your ACTIVATION EMAIL, then you have been successfully billed and your account(s) created.
- We bill all accounts on the 1st of each month, for that particular month. If you have started mid-month, or partial month, than this startup month has been pro-rated.
- You will be billed your current monthly amount on the 1st of each month until you send in a cancellation notice.
- If you have a multi-month package, then you are billed on the first of the month in which the package starts, then again in that interval.
- If you elected to pay via CHECK or PAYPAL, then you need to make sure we receive your monthly checks on the 1st of each month. They are late on the 10th, and accounts WILL be frozen until payment is made. You will receive a montly reminder via E-Mail.

2. Rules & Operation We consider our system an ADULT system, and do not tolerate abuse.
SATEXAS is quite serious about the rules, they are enforced heavily without hesitation. Having commerically
run Eggdrop Bots since 1996, SATEXAS is very aware that the stronger the system we run, the better it is for our company and our users.
We will not allow ruin it for the others, it's not worth the time nor funds to deal with it.
Our account policies can be found in our Account Policies section. We require that all SATEXAS members review and become familiar with, and abide by, those policies.
3. VHOSTS When you signed up, you chose a unique VHOST name for your Bot. At SATEXAS, users don't use the server's standard hostname or IP address but instead you are given a private customized vhost and IP that are yours to use on IRC. All users are required to use these private IP addresses.
In your activation E-Mail, you should have received your private names as requested and the IP addresses they were assigned. To activate this vhost in your Bot, simply add these 2 lines to your config file :
set my-ip "###.###.###.###" (Where ### are your assigned IP numbers)
set my-hostname "vhost.domain.com" (Where vhost.domain.com is your assigned vhost)
4. SSH / FTP Addresses In your WELCOME TO SATEXAS email, you were told what servers your account(s) are on. Below you will find the following information that you will require.
SSH Access ONLY : Starting in July 2001, SATEXAS no longer allows standard telnet clients. We now require, like most companies/shells, that you use a SSH telnet client. SSH is secure and encrypted, and it has many more features than the standard telnet client. You can find a nice free client here :

It is SATEXAS policy to split up your bots across our various servers for stability for you, and load balancing for us. This will help
protect you during reboots, maintence, and other causes of downtime or rebooting.
5. Super Menu System SATEXAS has written a VERY unique and original menu system designed and written by the founder of SATEXAS, Russ Bennett, for SATEXAS users. This menu can be invoked by telnetting into your account and simply typing "menu". This automatic installation system is unique and the most advanced out on the market, hands down.
This menu will allow you to do things like Install A Bot, Install Scripts, Install Crontab, Repair Bot Languages, Backup & Restore your Bot using Archives, etc...
