How can I use my E-Mail capabilities?

All SATEXAS Shell accounts get E-Mail capability. That means that if you have multiple processes, you have been given multiple accounts, thus each one has a different E-Mail address and all can be used if you wish.

Your E-Mail address is the same as your /whois on your eggdrop bot. It's username@satexasserver.com... where your username is your login name (the one you SSH with), and the satexasserver is the name of the SATEXAS server your account is on. Examples of what some look like are :

happyman@satexas.com
phoenix@buzz.wildstar.net
saint@spurs.satexas.com

I get web space? How much?

In each account (users with multiple bot/background processes have various accounts), your Eggdrop/Bot shares spaces with your Web Page, if you so wish to have one.

To find out how much space you have, and how much you are currently using, type 'quota' at the SATEXAS Unix prompt in SSH/Telnet.

To get a further breakdown of your account usage, type 'du -s' in your root directory (the first directory you start in when you log in).

If you want to know how to setup your website, and how to access it, where to put your pages, and other relevant information, type 'menu' at the SATEXAS Unix prompt, and choose the Web selection. It will configure your account for a website, fix the directory permissions, install a demo page, and tell you what to do.

Do I get to use webmail too?

Absolutely! Your to use webmail, go to :
http://server.satexas.com/webmail

... and log in using your username and password. Substitute 'server.satexas.com' with the actual SATEXAS server name that your account is on.
