Netscape 4 includes an E-Mail client, but does NOT support SMTP Authentication, a requirement of SATEXAS services and most mail servers on the Internet (soon to be a requirement globally). We highly recommend an upgrade to Netscape 7.2, the most recent release that included a mail client. It should be noted that Netscape has now released the v8.x series (Dec 2005) and has discontinued including any E-Mail clients it's software. For members whom are a fan of Netscape, we recommended you try either try Mozilla Thunderbird (a standalone e-mail client) or get Mozilla Suite 1.7.x.
